Claron Technology Participates in Canadas Trade Mission to Japan

April 8, 2013, Toronto—Claron Technology announced today its participation in the International Trade Mission in Japan with the Honourable Ed Fast, Minister of International Trade and Minister for the Asia-Pacific Gateway. The mission will travel to Japan April 10-12 to meet with various stakeholders in the field to focus attention on IT, device and other technology products for the medical imaging marketplace.

“By promoting and showcasing Canada's strengths and capabilities in target sectors and foreign markets, trade missions enhance Canada's profile and visibility on the international stage, while maximizing the benefits for world class Canadian companies,” said Minister Fast.  “By helping Canadian business expand and succeed abroad, we are also helping to create jobs, growth and prosperity at home.”

With the overall objective of expanding its insight into the needs of the medical imaging market in Japan, Claron will also meet with potential Japanese partners to strengthen existing relationships and build new connections.

Claron has experienced a tremendous response, in particular, to its Nil family of universal zero footprint medical imaging viewers,” says Reuven Soraya, VP of Worldwide Sales for Claron.  “The family of viewers provides anywhere, anytime image access on any web enabled device, including all of today’s popular mobile devices.  Our goal is to broaden the geographic market for this and other Claron technology products.”

He adds, “Together, as a group of technologically advanced Canadian companies, the delegation will make a strong statement that Canada is a source for medical imaging innovation.  We appreciate the opportunity to participate in the delegation and look forward to meeting with Japanese experts in all aspects of the field.”
