PACS news American Fork, Utah, Jan. 26, 2012 – Novarad continued global growth during 2011 completing 127 installations for new contracts. Of these installations, 15 percent were new international contracts. Installations included:

  •  NovaPACS, 84 installations of the company’s web-based PACS can be completely customized by the user and includes MPR / 3D, integrated dose monitoring (NovaDose), rapid reading / reporting features, voice recognition, templating, advanced tools and features, critical findings, quality control and overread and discrepancy reporting.
  •  NovaRIS, 20 installations for this companion solution. Developed on the same platform as NovaPACS, that generates reports, measures profitability and facilitates paperless management of patient records.
  •  NovaMG, 19 installations of the FDA 510(k) cleared and IHE compliant digital breast imaging viewer that supports multi-modality viewing, iCad and R2 structured reports.
  •  NovaCardio, 4 installations finished for the Integrated Cardiology PACS/CVIS information management system.

In addition to extending its installations, the company marked several firsts including the first company to integrate its PACS with DoseMonitor radiation dose monitoring software, creating NovaDose; partnering with Dell to offer Novarad Total Archive with Dell’s Unified Clinical Archive and launching three mobile viewers for iPad.
