Dr. Vipin Bansal, M.D., currently Chair of the RAS Finance Committee, and Dr. Mark Leibenhaut, M.D., F.A.C.R., an Executive Committee member for RAS, have both joined the Impact Corelab board, effective immediately.

Vipin Bansal, M.D.:

Dr. Bansal's career spans nearly 15 years and includes experience in Diagnostic Radiology and Vascular and Interventional Radiology. A graduate of Cornell University and University of California, Los Angeles School of Medicine, he currently serves as a diagnostic radiologist of RAS, also serving as the group's Finance Committee chair. Dr. Bansal is an active member of several associations, including the Society of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology; Radiological Society of North America; American Roentgen Ray Society; and the American Medical Association. He holds a number of awards and distinctions, among them a Certificate of Merit from the Radiological Society of North America and the Leo Rigler Award in Radiological Sciences.

Mark Leibenhaut, M.D., F.A.C.R.:

With a nearly 15-year career in the clinical trials and hospital fields, Dr. Leibenhaut is an experienced administrator and principal investigator in several important oncology trials, currently serving RAS as Medical Director, Multispecialty Division, and a member of its Executive Committee. A graduate of the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, he also holds an MBA from California State University, Sacramento. Dr. Leibenhaut's credentials include Board Certification in Radiation Oncology from the American College of Radiology; Diplomat, National Board of Medical Examiners; and membership in the Northern California Radiation Oncology Society, American Radium Society, and American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology. In addition, he also writes questions for the American Board of Radiology exams in Radiation Oncology, Lymphoma and Leukemia.
