Healthcare IT newsCleveland and WESTPORT, Conn. – December 21, 2011 – As the complexity and demands of radiology services increase, Radisphere (www.radisphere.net) finds that it is meeting the needs of physicians at client hospitals, according to a recent survey. Radisphere, the only radiology provider offering proven levels of accessibility and accountability to community hospitals, announced the findings of an annual medical staff survey. According to the findings:

Several findings are in line with a recent KLAS report, which revealed that Radisphere had the highest score in the area of report quality and high marks for final report turnaround times. These marks led to an exceptional level of satisfaction among Radisphere's clients (95 percent).

“The hospital medical staff is ultimately the client for our services,” said Radisphere’s Co-founder Dr. Frank Seidelmann. “Understanding how doctors use radiology and how radiologists deliver value to physicians is critical to the future success of radiology.”

The survey was conducted between October and November, 2011, and garnered responses from referring physicians associated with community hospitals across the country. The physicians represented a range of departments that consume radiology services, including the Emergency Department, OB/GYN, Surgery, Orthopedics, Oncology, Internal Medicine, and Pediatrics.
