Hemophilia

• Lifelong bleeding disorder primarily affecting male patients. A>B

• Radiology:

• Joints – intermittent hemoarthroses, osteopenia, epiphyseal widening(widened intercondylar notch femur), progressive erosive osteoathritis, subluxation, ankylosis

• Other – hemorrhage anywhere with minimal trauma

• TX: medical – prompt factor replacement, splinting, physical tx.

• Surgical – arthroscopic synovectomy

Osteoarthritis in someone too young to have it. DDX: prior trauma, JRA
